Jan 20, 2014, An Indian voice/accent called himself Micheal Kennedy called me demanded that I listen to him and his demand otherwise IRS will sue me...etc. We were panic worry sick of not sure what to do. I was glad to found this link/site to know that this is a SCAM. Why don't the REAL IRS go after this people who scam from ordinary people. If the REAL IRS is watching this chats, please do something about this before more american gets heard. PLEASE...
Have been getting these calls for about 3 weeks. Mostly it was voicemails and my family answering the phone. Needless to say my family was quite concerned. One time, the call was answered by my 18 year old college going son and he was completely taken in by the scam, believing every word. He took down detailed notes including name and phone number to call. I was 90% sure it was a scam. Today I answered the call myself for the first time. Definitely coming from India with a put-on american accent (I know!). I was firm and asked why there hasn't been any written communication about this 'lawsuit'. The answer was that I have to call them first for them to send details for the lawsuit (ha HA.! So if I never call I'll never know. What a scam!).
He gave me his name (Michael Kennedy) and asked me to call 425-214-0746.. I did a google search...and here I am. What a bunch of BS. Next call, I am going to have some fun and string them out.
Got this call two days ago (Jan. 16, 2014). I wasn't at home, so the person left me a message and said her name was Sabrina Martin. Found out this scam is run from Pakistan. She claimed to be with the IRS and I had a "deficiency in my taxes" and need to call back immediately to resolve it. IRS never calls...they would first send a certified letter.
As I knew it was a scam, I called them back yesterday, but with my number blocked, so they couldn't recognize it. A guy picked up the phone. I asked him if he was the IRS and all he said was I had to give him my phone number before he could proceed. I continued to ask if he was the IRS...he then got irate and said "you think your smart for blocking your caller ID". I said, you think your smart for posing as the IRS and running a scam...he then got pissed and hung up. I've been harassing them since and at one time calling them and telling them I was the IRS.

I received a call from John saying that I owe money to IRS and to send it to him. Right away I knew it was a scam. I told him that I will not send him anything. He told me he will send a hit man and kill me. HAHAH. They are a SCAM.
I call John 10 times a day and harass them back. Every day I call and John yells at me to stop calling him. I continue calling John to piss him off. I told him how does it feel and I will continue bothering him every day.
I cant imagine how many people get caught up in this.
