this co has been hounding my home phone for nearly 1 year and now they are calling my cell. I have no c cards and they are a scam - although you can hit 3 to speak to someone they never allow you to connect.
Whew! Seeing all of these posts makes me feel so much better. They called me this morning with a automated voice saying that they can lower my interest rate on my credit card, which I new my bank would never call me like this. I however, wanted to see what card they were referring to because fraud alert happens.
I asked her numerous of times what company she was with and why they were calling me. Eventually she hung up on me. Which was fine with me because they ruined my morning anyway.
Beware, never share information with anyone that calls you for information, it's a setup. Also, don't trust anyone from India that speak clear English ( in my opinion).
Got a recording of an overly cheerful person saying she was, "Heather from Carol service there is no problem with your account, currently" but she could help lower my rates, etc. Ugh!t
