I got the same call.....call them and [***] em out....they'll take your number off the account...they act like pricks about it too....but it gets the job done
I too got calls - when I finally decided to find out what it was about - they said I had an outstanding balance with LTD or ABC Distributing - after much arguing and sending info it was determined that I didn't owe them anything - the items had been returned and they did not credit my acct. so if you shop with either ABC Distributing or LTD Commodities that is where they got your info from.
I too have received an automated call from McCarthy, Ferguson & Wolfe stating they had a very important business matter to discuss with me at my place of employment. They left their phone and a reference #. I have NO intention of calling this number as it has all the appearance of some sort of scam or identity theft from the messages posted.
