Has called me 3 times leaving no messages. Did recently open B of A accounts online. As a rule, I don't answer unknown phone #'s or return calls when no message is left.
got the call last night (we BoA remortgaged last month, btw). I only got as far as a long pause after I answered with "with whom am I speaking?" I disconnected as a woman's voice began. The only reason I answered is because I have flyers out for a lost/missing cat and they have my cell # -- if not for that I would have never answered a call like this.
This is a legitmate number for Bank of America. I received a call today from this number and when I returned it they were thanking me for being a loyal BOA customer.
