I hope you can find some free help somewhere to help you fight them. If they are returning your mortgage payments, then they have no interest in helping you in any way, only in hurting you. I am so sorry.
i love how all of these employees working for citi are posting on this forum claiming it is a great service and basically posing as a customer....good tryyy
469-220-0000 called for somebody I don't know and left message again saying it's urgent. Tried to call them back to complain but i needed to call different number which would be charged 1.99 on me. WTF...Really bad business (btw, wasting my freaking time) and will report to BBB or Government agents soon.
After receiving numerous calls I called the number back but all I got was a recording that said "key in your parties extension or be disconnected. I sent an email to Citigroup complaining and received the following reply;;

We apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.
The calls you received were reminders for your monthly
mortgage payment. Per CitiMortgage, Inc. policy, we give
courtesy calls to the customers in order to prevent late
charges and negative credit reporting on the mortgage
account.
We have initiated a request to stop the courtesy calls this
request will be completed by 11/07/11. Once the request is
completed you will receive a letter in the mail.
