I hope you can find some free help somewhere to help you fight them. If they are returning your mortgage payments, then they have no interest in helping you in any way, only in hurting you. I am so sorry.
They "say" they are from city financial mortgage, note the spelling on caller id "CITY FIN MRTG" This is NOT CITIMortgage... It is a scam. They are not bill collectors, they are not the real CITI. Ignore the call and go on with your life :(
Don from Citi at 469-220-5565 called. If you want to reach a human, try other numbers in the 469-220- exchange. They probably have the whole block. Maybe you will get lucky and find someone nice who can help you out with your mortgage since this it what the callers seem to be about. Don was nasty but apparently par for the course with this group.
This is a legit Citi Number, but it may not necessarily be CitiMortgage. Citi called me back from this number as I am a former Citi employee who was overpaid my last paycheck, so they were calling me back in response to me calling the HRSS number last week.
