This number has called my phone a lot in the past few weeks. I answered it once and it was a guy asking me to renew my AAA with him and to give me a credit card.. I didn't said no thanks. He was not happy. Just got 3 more calls today from the number....
I got the same call today and after reading everyone's posts, I'm thinking it could be AAA. I had Triple A last year and my plan expired. They have been sending me mail & emails the last 2 months or so telling me to renew, so I wouldn;t doubt it if it was AAA.
I got a call from this number saying it was AAA and it probably was.
I called the membership services 800# for AAA and indeed my credit card had expired.
I gave them the new one. No problem.
So, calls from this number might be from AAA *or might be some scammer* if they can somehow spam the caller ID.
Best to call the published number of the company they claim to be from and sort the issue out.
