This is a tele marker who called twice. The first time "Glenn" called, he said it was regarding solar energy. I told him we aren't interested. The second time (several hours later) he called and I recognized his voice and once again he said his name was "Glenn". I told him that I already said we weren't interested and he said "No no you are wrong, I'm calling from a mortgage broker". I told him to never call us again and he hung up on me. Total scam.
Actually, if you call scammers back, what it does is tell them you're a "live" number that they can then use again, or sell to other scammers. [A legitimate business would take you off their list, but as you can see from other posters here, this is a scammer/telemarketer, and you've just given them info that your number is viable.]
Got the same exact thing. Obviously, these scammers have changed their number (or re-spoofed) again since I have their other numbers blocked. This number is now blocked, along with any future calls from other numbers. Perhaps one day they will realize that every time they call my number all they get is the 3 tone "Not In Service" from my Tele-Zapper before getting hung up on from my call blocker. Gottaluvthat!.... :)
Got this call; caller id read, "local banking". answered, and they offered free security system. Pressed # to get off their list, but doubt that worked.
Got a call today evening, caller id Allen TX. Scammer calling and leaving a voice mail to put the security alarm. Blocked it.. They will now call with another spoofed number and need to block them again. This will continue...
