This is a tele marker who called twice. The first time "Glenn" called, he said it was regarding solar energy. I told him we aren't interested. The second time (several hours later) he called and I recognized his voice and once again he said his name was "Glenn". I told him that I already said we weren't interested and he said "No no you are wrong, I'm calling from a mortgage broker". I told him to never call us again and he hung up on me. Total scam.
spoofed number are actual legal if they use a unused number. there was a bill in congress to make it a crime so contact you congressman to demand it. but thing a company in security systems violating state and federal law violating the dnc list and then someone would trust the home to them??????
also these salesman go door to door claiming there been crimes in your neighborhood so after 2 claims about 6 months apart were incidences of unlocked cars were the only crimes published on web something a home alarm would not stop but locking the car would
Got this call this morning. It said Allen, Texas. I let answering machine pick up. Of course, they hung up as soon as my machine picked up....Pesky sales people....I never pick up unless I know the number.
Received a call from "Home" in Allen, Texas to my home phone in NW WA state. Answered the call and it's a recorded message that starts off as "INCREASED CRIMINAL ACTIVITY IN YOUR AREA!!!!! We're "selecting" homes in your area to try our new home security alarm...blah blah" and then I hung up.
