Spoke very fast and looking for a Spanish name. I made them slow down and they gave me a name not at my number. When I told them, they immediately became very clear in voice and tried to sell me a car protection policy. Scam!!
They are laughing because they are criminals and know you have little recourse, for they are calling from computer-generated (Spoofed) numbers, giving them little chance of being traced and prosecuted. Just hang up and block the number. If you do not have a call blocker, you can buy one on Amazon. Well worth the number.
Missed their call yesterday. I called them back but got automated answering machine. They called today and I picked up. No one spoke on the other line. I called back and got automated answering machine. Pressed 2 to "get my number off their list". Then I blocked the number.
They identity info on a vehicle I already sold and which I paid off 4 years ago. They threatened me saying 2 payments were. Then they hung up when I asked for more details. Clearly they are trying to extract money fraudulently. Serious scam.
They didn't say anything when I picked up, they just cut my call. so next time they called, I didn't say anything, I wanted to hear them talk but they didn't say anything. Waste of time.
