I get these calls on my prepaid cell phone and I'm more than four years ahead in paying off my car. Plus, I didn't have a cell phone when I bought the car.
They just called me on a number i've only had for a week. It's not even in my name. I don't know where Drive
Financial got my number. absolute crap. They have called every day for 18 days.
They've called 2 and 3, and even 4 times a day for the past 2 weeks. I ignored the first couple of days since I use this phone for EMAIL ONLY, and have had the phone for over 2 years. Finally answered and they asked to speak to Willamenia, and then to TaShawnda. I told the guy on the phone he had the wrong number and to please remove my number. He said I had to give him my name to do that - which I thought I don't think so. Anyway, this has been going on for 2 weeks now. I'm not late on a car payment, as I live downtown in a big city and don't even have a car! nor do I have any loans that are late. This is beyond annoying and sine I see that a lot of people have had this problem over the last 2 months, I'm reporting this to the FCC. This should be fun. (Oh, and I left out I'm a lobbyist who deals with the FCC and Congress regularly. Who says all lobbyist are evil?)
I do not have Drive Financial but one of my children do and because i was listed a a referrence they have been bugging me about THEIR late payment. I am disabled and do not give out my cell number (which is all i have phone-wise)to collection agencies. I no longer have to deal with collection agencies coming after me for my stuff for years now and i am annoyed that i am getting them for someone else..Is there anything i can do to keep them from calling me? Other agencies have told me i have to put it in writing and i say BULL i dont have a loan with you and i did not solicite calls from you and after i ask the 1st time not to call,i consider it harrassing when u call again! There is a law against harrasing calls the last time i checked!!
