This guy misrepresented himself to us as an ATTORNEY! Saying he was filing a lawsuit in an hour and trying to get our bank account information over the phone. He was unprofessional, insulting and COMPLETELY a JERK(and that's being extremely nice!) He keeps telling us he has a lawsuit on his desk and we have one hour to call him or he's filing it and all this CRAP! I'm going to investigate him further and find out where I can report him for impersonating an attorney! I have him on VM saying he's an attorney! Anyone have any ideas??
My daughter got a call from these jerks today. She has been living with me since July as her husband is in Iraq and she is 8 months pregnant and they upset her badly. Although she did owe money to Cingular, NRS told her that since she did not respond to their mailings that she had to pay the total bill right now. Since she has been living with me, I know that she has not received any correspondence from them. When she told them that she could not afford it but would be willing to make a regular monthly payment, they refused and threatened her with attorneys and a lawsuit. This is the first collection agency I have ever dealt with that would not accept partial payments.
They call my office number everyday. They say that they are calling regarding papers that they have sent me. Funny, i never receive anything at all from them, except annoying phone calls.
They called my house at 8:00 in the morning. The message on the answering machine said they were looking for someone I never heard of. When I tried calling them I never got a real person. Since then they have called almost every morning around the same time, although they haven't left anymore messages. Since I leave for work at 7:00 they're not going to get an answer, so I've just been ignoring it.
NRS calls continually for a person unknown to me. I have had this cell number for 3 yrs. and possibly it the person who had this number before. After continuously ignoring the first calls,I waited for options and selected the choice that I was not this person which was to remove me from their system. This did not work as I still get calls. I once again called and left a voicemail on one of the choices and stated the error and figured it was solved. I am still getting calls and unfortunately did not keep the 800# I rec'd with some of the other messages. (Not that it would do me any good!)
What a rude idiot! The guy just kept talking in circles and would never get to the point. I think they must be telmarketers or collection people sitting in a cubicle getting paid by the hour and are really just burning up time by goofing off. First he said something about collections and sounded like they were trying to get our business, and it then switched to sounding like he wanted to buy something. All I got out of it was he name was Ed? and he was an idiot.
