I keep receiving calls from this phone number. They claim that he represents my insurance company and want to verify my vehicles and some basic personal information about myself. They tell me that I'm getting a 35% decrease in my insurance premium. It's a scam
Same thing: Brian (East Indian Accent) quoted my personal info back to me, told me that my rates were going down 35% and had all my auto insurance info, DOB, address, etc. Told him I wasn't going to give/confirm any info but he said he wasn't asking for any money, just that he wanted to tell me rates going down. I called my Auto Ins company, explained and State Farm said this is a scam and that this "firm" is a front that hacks peoples personal info. Be aware and DO NOT confirm any information. I'm sure they are trying to use info to get into accounts.
This person called June 17th. I called back just for fun. He said his name was Frank Ross from "The Insurance Network". He didn't let me say a word and Abruptly began listing my car and telling me he worked with Progressive and then he spout my address but he then said 'married'. Lmao I ain't married. So I said 'state who you are please.' To which he replied 'I already told you who I am' in a condescending tone. Well his customer service sucked and I wanted him to tell me who he was and that no one's ever heard of his insurance company to which he said '....well ok bye' and he hung up. Epic fail.
I kept receiving calls from this same number and when I finally answer a middle eastern male says I'm from insurance network. I said I don't need new insurance I'm fine with mine. He says it's not a quote call. He knows what car I drive and says is calling to confirm so I can lower my car payments. I said well have fun lowering no payment cuz I own it and then he says well let me lower ur insurance rates and I said why don't you call and scam someone else because this is harassing me by calling numerous times and not to mention you can't keep your story straight!
