This phone number is calling to do fund raising for the Texas State Fraternal Order of Police. I have called the number. It directs you to a customer service department that can answer questions, help you donate, or anything else related to the FOP. Also, there’s information on www.texasfop.com, you can contact them there with any questions or requests.
The FOP is doing a lot of really great things for Texas police officers and the people that call are trying to help them raise money so they can do even more good.
This number is a SCAM. The FOP is a good charity, but these jerks only give 1% of their intake to the actual FOP charity. Do not give any personal information to these people. They change their number quite frequently and I've blocked about 7 numbers with the TX FOP caller ID.
This number came in today. No message was left. It was probably the scam ,that calls and try to sell something. They called a few days ago from # 281-984-2218 Frat Ord Police
The police never call to sell or ask for donations of any kind. Never, ever, give them anything. This is a total scam.. My husband is a police officer.
