I finally answered the phone after a dozen previous calls, but I didn't say anything. A male voice said hello 3 times and hung up. I bet he takes my number off his list now. I'm going to be doing this from now on with all solicitors because it costs them money and they hate it. One time some clown working for a cell phone company called wanting to sell me something, and I put him on hold "so I could find my wallet with my credit cards." But you guessed it, I never found it. :) So he called back and I hung up on him. Then he called back 2 more times, and I hung up on him each time. (He thought he had a fish on his line and he didn't want to let it go.) When he called back an hour later, I answered and told him I was having trouble with my phone, and put him on hold again so I could go get my wallet. That company never called again, and I bet they put my number on a "NEVER call list" they share with other telephone harassment companies.
Oh boy FOP do we have you over a barrel. There is enough on here complaint wise to prove you have used fraudulent techniques so often that it is an obvious pattern and practice. Thats really all we need. Do you realize that we have you over a barrel. Do you see the handwriting on the wall.
These callers are using fraudulent techniques such as implying they are actual Police Officers, they are trying to intimidate you when they say "your not in trouble or anything" Dont let them intimidate you, as a matter of fact, just dont let them talk to you.
If any of you calling had any kind of backbone at all, you would stand up to your bos right now and tell him that you are not going to use these fraudulent techniques anymore. Do you have enough backbone left, or did they brow beat it out of you all ready
Do NOT give this group anything and pick up the phone and call your local police and sheriff department so they can issue a warning to your neighbors so they dont get ripped off either
No kidding, they count on you to not report them thinking its no big deal, but it is a big deal, it is a very big deal as millions of dollars a year are being taken from the families of officers killed in the line of duty.

They must be stopped, tell your neighbors and friends and co workers that this scam is happening in your community, email them the links above so they can know it is happening and defend themselves from being conned in the name of officers killed in the line of duty
