What do you do? I had told him the same thing and notified my local law enforcement and it stop for two weeks. Then all of a sudden I receive a voicemail for the same sh*t?
I got a call from this # today posing as a Police Officer saying he is filing a lawsuit against me I filled out a application for Money Mutual they have all my info Thank you for posting the links on this # I called my local Police,secret service and FBI I closed all my accts and may be changing my #.
Been getting the same calls, and yes it is scary that they can know all of the personal information. PLEASE HEED the warnings so far on here, DON'T give out any more information and CERTAINLY DON'T PAY THEM A DIME!!!! I work for a collection agency, and if you owe a debt, you have the right to request proof in writing of the debt you owe. THIS IS A SCAM SCAM SCAM! I could tell something wasn't right with the guy talking to me, so my guard went up right away, he told me if I stayed on the phone for a certain length of time, the lawsuit would be dropped????? I'm just thinking, does he really think i'm that stupid? Of course, I immediately hung up the phone. I really hope they're not tricking innocent people into paying them.
I am currently live in North of California.In the last few weeks, I received several phone calls from officers name Jeff Thomson and Jack Foster ( same person, just different name every time he called ) who claimed to be calling from UNLD , Law firm (he spoke in a thick Indian accent) to informed me there is a lawsuit had been filed to against my name and my ss# ( he told me my last # , but it was wrong). He left several messages for me saying that he needs me to call him back (469-821-0335) if not the only thing he can do is he wish me good luck because the situation of legal matter is totally enforce on me. He has to take some legal action to against my ss#... This is a total scam. I did file complain to FTC and local police..Please do not answer to this phone # and report to Police and FTC. I am sure, sooner or later US gov will track down these people/group.
I received a call on my ans. mach. from someone claiming that my son Bryan is involved in a lawsuit and we need to call him to have him take care of it as he can help him out.
I have received a phone call from a UNLD law firm and they advised that I was being sued by a Payday LoanOne.com for 300.00. This apparently occured back in July. Well I called PDLO and they advised that they dont have nor have they ever had me on file as receiving a loan. I called the number back
(408)520-2483 and advised that I have call PDLO and etc....and he ask me for their number. So I advised that I would be reporting to the Federal Better business bureau
was that the right decision
