What do you do? I had told him the same thing and notified my local law enforcement and it stop for two weeks. Then all of a sudden I receive a voicemail for the same sh*t?
The better business Bureau will not have info on them because it is not a real business. File reports with the FTC, FBI (IC3), and FCC. They have online forms for this and the more people who file reports and provide information the more likely and able they are to intervene. The caller will not stop calling if you threaten to report because he knows that he is out of country and committing fraud and identity theft so why would he worry about little regulations like the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Also have no fear they do not have the ability to have you arrested taken to court or place info on your credit report because their claim is fraudulent. They do have your SSN though so lock your credit reports. Also if you file the complaints with government agencies you have a documented legal report to fall back to if you later need to show proof of reported identity theft. Your local police can also file a report for you but are less likely as these crimes are bigger then their jurisdiction or ability to investigate.
