Received a call stating that there was a debt for a Chase visa card in an amount over $10,000. I asked the date the card was opened and they gave a date. I don't remember any Chase card, but what alarmed me was that they knew my social security number and my three previous addresses. I requested they send me a copy of the information, but said they were sending to federal attorney in my county of residence bla bla bla. To mess with them I asked where to send payment, but they would not give me an address. That suprised me. I kept insisting they mail me information and they finally hung up.
I better check my credit report to insure that no one is trying to do some ID fraud on me.
This company is no with doubt bunch crocs are running this scam. I called them to verify there belligerent and very unprofeesional
the FBI needs to investigate them and put them out of business.
I just got the same message from them - with a case number attached. I was wondering if there actually was a case filed or whether this was a scam to get you to pay money?
Did you receive a document - IN WRITING that was MAILED through the post office? That is your answer and if there was a case number, you would have been subpoenaed.
Check BigA's post a few posts above yours for more information.
I received a call from this number a few minutes ago and they ref to a Mr. Lee and gave me a case number. Have no clue what this is about. Did they provide you with case number? May just block this number.
