I'm glad I read this! Now I am 100%sure it was a scam! I got a call from Zinco processing from phone # 469-329-0131. Very aggressive and rude! She thought she can trick me! Lol
This phone number is associated with a fraudulent debt collector. DO NOT under any circumstances give them any more information than they already seem to have. They claim to be attorney's collecting a debt but have no information on their client or want to release that information. They claim to be out of Dallas Texas but the SOS have no record of the company Zinco and Associates operating in Texas nor any other potential phonetic spellings. I phoned the entity they claim to be collecting for and they had not heard of the company. Phone number I received a call from is 469-329-1059.
469-329-1056 through 1062 all these (Direct Inward Dial) numbers are theirs. I called them from Google hangouts and said I was with a new agency doing a report. They said they would transfer me to their compliance department which a guy named Kevin answered. When I tried getting information someone in the background yelled at them, "Hang up you idiot!"
They know what they are doing is illegal. They are calling about old debt, then starting the conversation off with liens and legal crap. They threatened to call my company, no biggie I told them, I sit right next to my manager.
Mr. Lee seems very aware this is a total scam, the rest of the people do not. If you give them a hard time, they transfer you to him.
Had I to do the call over, I would agree to pay and ask where I can mail a check and try to get some real info to get to my attorney generals office. If you get a call, please try to do this by agreeing to them etc
Most states statute of limitations prevent any of the debt that may or may not be real from being legally binding.
I received a vm today from some lady named Mrs Siegal and she left on the message that they have received legal documentations that will be processed against my social securty. and if i do not return there call there will be consequences..... lol!! I have noting on my credit and nothing is pending agaisnt me.. nice try and good luck. I did return call and it doesnt state anything about what type of business they are its just a vm that says sorry you have reached ext and informs you to leave a message... deffinetly a fraud. I have turned them in to BBB and i even checked to see if it lagit and there is nothing.
