This is so ridiculous!! They will NOT stop calling and now when I press "1" to be connected to someone, I get disconnected, so now I can't even tell them to STOP CALLING ME!!! SCAM!! I have also reported this for over a month now at the "do not call registry"
They have called several times about lowering my interest rate on my credit cards. Its hard to be lower than 0%. I have tried to be removed from their list several time with no success. When I hold for representative and ask who they are, they hang up on my.
Got a call from this number. Here's how I handled the callers before.
Me--yes I'm interested in lowering my interest rate
He--Well, we can certainly help you, you have to owe at least $4,000.00 to be eligible.
Me--Thats no problem
He--How many credit cards do you have?
Me--12
He--How much do you owe. You don't have to give an actual amount.
Me: Ok, I owe somewhere around $200,000.00, He hung up and even though they kept calling there was never anyone there. Stopped calling after about 30 days. Now they are back at it.
Why doesn't someone stop these scammers. They harass and call and call. The fact should be able to stop it I'm even on a do not call for five years list.
