A guy with a foreign accent called, said they were a mortgage co, told him I wasnt interested in a refi, he said thats not why he's calling but kept asking for my home loan info, interest rate, loan amount, etc. He said they are a program to make people aware of better rates. Then started again with asking for info so I just hung up.
caller id said mortgage savings. girl asked questions about house for remortgage rates. said a licensed broker from our area would call back within 5 min. It's been 15. I called number and it said the mailbox was full. I believe it was a scam. Glad i didn't give any specific info. I HATE phone solitations. they should be outlawed.
