A guy with a foreign accent called, said they were a mortgage co, told him I wasnt interested in a refi, he said thats not why he's calling but kept asking for my home loan info, interest rate, loan amount, etc. He said they are a program to make people aware of better rates. Then started again with asking for info so I just hung up.
I am so sick of these people calling me, I have a heart attack when an out of state number calls me during work, it makes me think that something is wrong. When I answer, no one is there. This IS ILLEGAL, you are not allowed to call someone for marketing/ sales more than three times a day or consecutive days in a row more than once a day. If I happen to reach someone on the phone next time they call it will be the last damn phone call they ever make. I'm in phone sales and this is NOT how businesses should operate.
They are a scam! They are calling me too about refi my mortgage. I asked a bunch of questions they could not answer anything. I close residential real estate transactions for a living; I work for a bank. These simple questions they should of known. Your home is public record they can view your mortgage online. Don't give any information to anyone about your mortgage unless you applied with that bank.
