Wanted to speak to the credit manager about processing invoices. Whatever, I told him we weren't interested in his services and hung up. Based on what I've read here, my guess is that they'll call back, again and again. Don't catch me at a bored moment people, I will screw with you for fun.
So this number, 484-860-3700 CREDITSAFE USA, is THE scam call that prompted me to say enough is enough and purchase a call blocker for our main incoming phone lines. I tell them I am not interested and not to call again. To retaliate, they then call repeatedly. Demanding to speak to the owner and telling me I have no right to dismiss the call will get you nowhere! (I am the owner btw) Sad that this is their job. Pathetic adult bullies armed with a telephone. Just when I think their calls will be forever blocked thanks to my $100 big red button, I just received two calls on unpublished, rollover lines.
A POS from this company called and I didn't really look at the caller id when I answered since we do business across the entire country. Guy asked for accounts receivable and when I asked what the call was regarding he said it was for a credit reference for one of our customers. Told him I could help with that and to give me the customer's name to which he started his sales pitch asking if what we use to get credit references from. It took me a sec to realize he wasn't calling for a credit reference and trying to sell their services and at that point I hung up on him. They tried to call back a couple of times, call blocker dumped them both times. I looked up the number here and wasn't surprised at the comments I saw. The nerve of these scum. Yeah let's start trying to drum up business by lying to them straight off the bat, great idea Creditsafe idiots!
