This number is fishing for your credit card information. I smell FRAUD! When I told the person who came on that I wanted off their call list, he hung up on me!
It's a promotions deal. I dialed it back - the message said, "Thank you for calling back. If you do not want to receive further calls regarding our promotions, please press 1 now." I pressed 1, the system said "thank you." We'll see if they call back or not.
I have received several calls from this number on my cell phone and I do not typically give out my cell phone number to ANYONE! How on earth did they get it? I understand that the President is allowing cell phone numbers to become public to anyone who wants to obtain them. Is this true? If so, I'm mad!!! It's bad enough to get these calls on my land line, but on a cell phone that charges by the minute, it's even worse!
I just got a call from this number on my cell phone. I rejected the call since I didn't recognize the number and they did not leave a voice mail. My cell phone is registered with the do not call list and I have gotten the credit card phishing scam call several times and reported it each time, yet they keep coming.
