if you go online and type in Goldman and associates there are several different businesses. in different states. some say law firms and some say drs. and some say real estate agencies. so who knows who these people are.
I received a call from this number today and they stated they were from Goldman And Associates and that I owed a company called Quick Pay never heard of this company. The man was rude, the original call was an automated message
10/1/13 I received (2) voicemails from 504-535-5869 in New Orleans. I have ID on my phone. Saying we have a summons with (2) charges? Call the number above sounds odd.
I got a call today for jason smith telling me there was charges being filed against me blah blah blah, its a scam, its sad people out there think this is funny.
The dedicated regulars here do not think fraud is funny. We fight frauds and scammers on a daily basis. We never laugh at a victim. We do, however, laugh at the antics of the scum-bags running these scams. They are beneath contempt.
An educated consumer is immune to their ploys. Which is why many of us here do our best to help inform others of their rights and educate them about the schemes being used by bottom-feeders. Foreign or domestic, a bogus or fraudulent debt collector is nothing but a criminal. A very LOW criminal.

My attorney spoke to the authorities about this. The boyfriend and girlfriend that run this scam use a call spoof system to change numbers. Since they constantly change these numbers every few days, it's impossible to catch them unless we all start reporting to the FBI so they can get involved. If numerous complaints are lodged, they will open a case. If anyone has paid these people (hopefully you haven't) then it is interstate fraud and you have a case. We all need to demand our government stops collection calls and only allows certified letters or court action for collections and this would eliminate this. I have never had a payday loan in my life. My sister took one out in 2007 and used me as a reference and now I'm called as if I owe the debt. I lost my job in 2008 as they called my work 80+ times per day and stressed my boss out and she had to let me go. If they are ever caught, I would love 5 minutes with them in a room. I have different phone numbers since then so I would like to know how they got my private phone numbers 5 years later. One big note: They are NOT Goldman and Associates.
