Stamtis Reves....whoever that is. Don't want these annoying calls so have turned off the answering machine as it seems whatever kind of answer these pests get, they keep calling!!!
The caller frightened my elderly mother-in-law, telling her she had a problem with her computer. She informed him she doesn't have a computer. He kept talking and got abusive with her and she hung up.
I've played along with them twice now. I pretend to press the keys they ask me to, and when I'm supposed to tell them what message popped up, I've said "oh no, it's a message warning me not to listen to the BS from scammers calling from "Microsft" to help with my computer". Today's response was "OK, goodbye", but when he didn't hang up I asked him if people were actually falling for his BS, he kind of laughed and then hung up. The last time I played along, the response was a bit harsher, the caller actually said "F you and F your mother, you F-er". Part of me was mad at that, but I got a little satisfaction knowing I got to him, even if just a little bit.
Called telling my computer needed to be fixed. Have always just hung up before but felt like playing today. Told him I found it fascinating that he called saying I had a computer that had problems. He said I was a registered Microsoft user...and I said I found that fascinating. Then he asked me if I had a computer and I said that he was the authority that called me saying I did...I asked if he knew where I could find it,
and then hung up.
I just got a call from 508 257 4621 (reves stamtis) about my computer. I told him I did not have a computer. He said no laptop or anything. I said no and he said ok and hung up. I will monitor if they call again.
