this company has been calling my cell phone 3 or 4 times a day for several weeks now and finally, today friday nov. 11th, not a very good day for reasons i would rather not go into at this time, this company has called me 5 times in 4 hours and ask to speak to my brother willis pack whom i know very little about and do not have a phone number for or an address. i am very busy today and i keep telling them that i will not release ant personal info about this person even if i had any to release. i hang up on this person the last time they call me. well i decide to call them back to ask to speak to a manager, a man answers the phone and hangs up, i call back and a lady answers the phone and threatens me with harrasment if i keep calling them back, duh!!! they are the ones that have been calling my number for the past month asking for another person but i pay the bill on my phone line.
I Keep getting calls from this place Hamilton, Burke, and Associates and this guy Mike Levine leaves these long mesages stating he has important information on a settlement. The person he is looking for doesnt even live at this number. I have about 5 messages stating that some kind of agreement has to be made on the specific day that he calls or it will be placed in the courts hands....dont you think it would have already been turned over to the courts if this was legit??...he has called my house like 5 times. I answered one time and tried explaining the person didnt live at my home and he told me I was lying and to turn over some of my welfare check to my pay my bills. I was disgusted by this flunkie loser telling me I collect welfare. so unprofessional.
I recieved a call from a Jim Maxwell, saying I owed a debt from about 12 years ago, I told him I had no idea what he was talking about but that there was anaccount opened up in my name with my social security number. He said if I didn't make it to a court date they were pursuing and if i didn't pay this so called "debt" back that I will go to jail. I told him I never heard of such a thing just like I no nothing about this account and to show me my signature or a document that says this was my account then, and he said we don't have a signature or any documentation that this is your account, it will be shown in court from the company the account was made to. He called them MNBA or something!! Wow I called an attorney at my husbands law office and they told me that for one sounds like it's not your account, and even if it was you don't go to jail for an uncollected debt, or not showing up to court on a civil matter. Also they said the statue of limitations was up and there not even allowed to be bugging you if it was your account to begin with.
