I just got a call from this number telling me it's "Adam Jones", the "Head Attorney" in a lawsuit filed against my social security number. They're "Sebastian's Law Firm". Yeah.
Of course, when I asked, please spell that name, give me an address, tell me exactly where you are, I was told I'm a "dumb lady" demanding that information, and - THEY hung up on ME.
My expereince was the same as all this. I was so scared I was going to actually get the green dot to pay anything off (he said the amount was $532). Thank goodness i went online and started looking at green dot and this phone number about scams. He is scary on the phone so even the innocent are frightened. He is now blocked on my phone.
This is my situation as well-happened after applying for loan. Though he called himself Michael Smith in my message. Told me if I didnt call back then he could only wish me good luck as this situation unfolds. Pretty creepy.

I just wanted you guys to know I received the same from call from the same number but he told me his name was "Adam Jones" from a law office but refused to tell me what law office. He also told me I owed an old payday advance loan, which I have never even got one, and that if I did not make a payment to him in the next 60mins I would be charged with multiple felonies and go straight to jail. I DID REORT THIS TO THE Better Business Bureau and provided the telephone number and a detailed information about what happened, so they have been reported! In case some of you don't this is a landline number from Attleboro, Massachusetts, the area code is 02703. Maybe if we all report it the authorities will take action because they should anyway!
Had the same thing happen while I was at work, someone left a voicemail and was very rude and disrespectful saying that I need to contact him immediately with my attorney, saying that there is a serious matter involving a lawsuit that I was going to be sued. So when I got home and tried to return the call with this number all I get was a busy signal.
