Caller id said Dir Assist MA. When I answered 'Nicole' asked for me or my wife by name. When I asked, "Who wants to know?" she said she wanted to know if we wanted our flue cleaned. When I told her we were on the DNC list, phone call went silent.... I will report them.
Avoid the harrassing phone calls and do as I did: buy a call blocker. Makes my phone a lot quieter. Find it on the internet, buy it, and use it. Does the job better than the National Do Not Call list.
When I answered the call a man asked for my husband by name. I stated he was not here and asked if I could take a message. He then asked who I was. I refused to answer him and he told me to go F**** myself and to tell my husband that he will be at the house for 3:00 p.m. The number came up as DIR ASST MA 508-555-6769.
