Recd call from 508-774-9885 and its a recording saying "" don't hung up this is not a solicitatiin call. And what there tryn to sell u is meds that ur insurance can cover for pain relieved...
At least a couple minutes of inane music before connecting to female droid "Maria". She greeted me with "Good Afternoon!", whereupon I told it was still morning where she was calling. I was able to waste five minutes of her time, and had to go through her entire sales pitch about a pain-relief cream.
She identified the VA health system as not qualifying immediately, but also surprisingly said that Blue Cross / Blue Shield "from the state" also wouldn't cover the cost. Since I was not escalated to the manager (most likely "Wes" at (561) 288-6228, I may need to give him another call), I had to tell her I am on the Do Not Call Registry at the end before she terminated the call. "Wes" says it has to be a rare "affiliate" that is violating the DNCR, he thinks his company is above-board.
If you are with Verizon, you can subscribe to Family Base for a small fee and then can block numbers... Since these slimes randomly generate numbers this is only partially effective but it's better than receiving multiple calls from the same number...they seem to be really pushing that so called pain cream which is a scam of course... Second call I got from this group from different numbers! :(
