call came from Ohio, and I let it go to voicemail since I don't know anyone in Ohio. They said they had received a fax complaint against me and they would be serving me at my home or my work, Left a Washington state number 509-620-9010, and a case file number. When I tried to return their call it said the number was not available to receive calls. I have had this cell number for less than a week...smells a little fishy to me!! Never give their company name or even who they might represent. Final words of the message were: "You have been notified".
These people called said there is a warrant for my arrest for a bill that wasnt paid, my Uncle is an officer and I handed him the phone, they called him some profound names he asked for their supervisor etc. they were given an 800 number and its to a financial company that is under investigation in Washington State for fraud and scamming people. These people are fakes and crooks and are breaking FDCPA law and scamming people.
I got a message saying that I owed money on two pending items and that they are going to contact me at my residence and workplace. Gave a number for me to call to resolve issue. I have no issue so not going to even try and return this call...they also use another number 509 620-9010
my parents received a recordered call (i have not lived in their home in 16 years) stating i was under prosecution and they will be pursing this matter at my job. Left a phone number and case number. i called the number back and spoke with "Mr. Davis" i told them the debt they were calling about had already been taken care of years ago. he asked if i could provide the documentation because their attorneys aren't going to just sit on it. I said i would have it by Monday.. he then said i could call him back Monday and ask for Mr. Davis with this documentation and then hung up - scam!!
