call came from Ohio, and I let it go to voicemail since I don't know anyone in Ohio. They said they had received a fax complaint against me and they would be serving me at my home or my work, Left a Washington state number 509-620-9010, and a case file number. When I tried to return their call it said the number was not available to receive calls. I have had this cell number for less than a week...smells a little fishy to me!! Never give their company name or even who they might represent. Final words of the message were: "You have been notified".
They called a neighbor of mine looking for me. I don't owe anyone money, I am not in any trouble. Their scam is a joke. But I want to know how they got my neighbors #? I think they do a reverse directory or something.
I just got a call from them this past Thursday (7/20/17) on my home phone at about 9 AM. I had calls with the same message about 6 months ago. Their message basically goes like this:
"This call is for name & last name ( they used my former married name from 2005)." They say the call is from the "process center" and leave a case number that is hard to understand. They say "since I did not take the call, they will be pursuing me at work ( I don't work- am a full-time college student), or residence."
Anyway, here is their other number 316-227-1858 Be careful with these professional scammers. They are playing a game of intimidation.
They called me. Stated that an action was pending. That they would call my place of employment. I didn't answer the phone because they tried this with me last year. They even went as far as calling my sister in California. She said it was a robo call which she didn't answer. She said that they said they same thing on the call that they left on my answering machine. Beware, it's a scam.
