I was in the hospital in March as well unexpectedly and owe on a medical bill that I just made arrangements to start paying on then these people start calling. They are a collector for medical bills it seems. I could understand if I went out and blew a bunch of money on something and didn't pay but no one really plans on having to go to the hospital and stay for several days out of the blue. Unreal....
I am getting the same calls regularly. I have a cell personal phone and a work phone...both Verizon and I get these calls on both numbers. They are from a recorded message either "Dave" or "Timothy". I never answer the phone and have never called back to the number given....the message asks for me to please return the call to 888-887-5430.
I have recently cleared up some collection activity so I am wondering whether it is a scam.....looking for people to pressure....there is no company identified and tehy don't even give the name of the person they are calling....it's almost like it is an automatic dialing machine ...
515-222-2918 calls quite often leaves no message except this is dave please return my call but when u call it back it says please hold for next operator so i never call back
