Wow, these guys are awesome. They call my business line multiple times and each time I have a good time. Today was the best so far. They tried to get me to run MSCONFIG and have a look at my running and stopped services. Every time I told them my services were running fine, he'd yell at me and asked me how I knew that they were fine? When pressed for how they received my report, they just kept repeating that I had sent one in. By way of "proving" that I had requested help from them, they kept repeating, "how else would we have this information if you didn't send it to us?" Hilarious. I kept asking him to not yell and to calm down and we'd work this out together. Finally, I think he figured out that I wasn't buying it and he hung up on me. Not sure if it was "James" or not, but oh boy, what a character. Free entertainment, if you ask me! Oh, and BTW, Thor, IA is a bustling metropolis of 186 people, in the middle of the state. Not so much a hot spot for tech support, I don't think.
Same thing as many posted here. My husband could not understand "James" and finally told "James" to have a nice #@$#@ day and hung up on him. This is about the 3rd or 4th call I have had in the past week. I have had the same caller many other times in prior months. I told them I don't own a computer - they still call!
Just had a call from the same number by "James" from Computer Maintenance, thick Indian accent. Told him to stop calling or I would report them as fraud and scam calls. He asked on what grounds. I told him he doesn't even know whether I own a computer, called him an idiot. Then he said "well you idiots are the ones who sent us a report so how else would we know?" I said a couple of other things and hung up. They call at least a couple times a week. Tired of scam calls!
