Same experience. Said they had received a "ping" in regards to our Windows 7 operating system pc and that some applications were trying to access our computer and they could help. My husband told him we had 7 pcs and how did they know which of our computers it was. Lol! My husband then told him he didn't trust him and what company was he with? He claimed he was with the TSA and left the phone number 1-800-380-3080. My husband told him he would check it out and get back to him if he was legit. In googling this 1-800 number I could not identify a company or caller name???? The caller also had a thick foreign accent!
Just got the call and was able to keep the idiot on the line for over 10 minutes. He ran throught the MSCONFIG deal and then told me to type in www.tiny.cc/jjkkll (that would give him access to my computer LOL). He asked if I typed that in to which I said yes. He said "who do you see?" I told him "This is weird....I see some Indian masturbating all over your wife".
Needless to say he didn't appreciate that.
Got a call and caller id said Thor Ia. A east Indian sounding woman told me about the computer problem. I told her to eat sh** and die hard. Thor Ia. has 180 people in the last census and The all probably speak good English and I really doubt ther is a tech center there
call obviously from India or bangladesh, or wherever. he said my computer was having problems and he got a report to call me. I told him yes, my computer was having problems, it was asking for [***] like him to call me.
