I was getting continuous calls. No voice on the other end when I answered. I called back, and there was a recording that stated that I was called for "Telemarketing purposes". And added that if I wanted to be removed from their call list to enter the number after the beep. I did, and the call kept coming 3 more times.....I just went into my phone account and blocked the number. Hopefully, there aren't other numbers from this boiler room thing.....
They called me 12 times in one day, same thing no response when I answered then a man with an Indian accent spoke after I told them to put me on the do not call list and that if they called back I would report them for harrasment. The guy then started to speak nonsense and them told me that if I could repeat what he said he would remove my number from the list. I hung up and reported this to Verizon who blocked the number for me and has said they are getting a lot of calls about this issue. Good luck.
Called me 7 times in 6 hours and won't answer when I pick up.... Total scam had my number blocked but it said it would take 72 hours. Hope they stop it's so annoying!
