First started as a text message saying that my number had been selected for a $500.00 Wal-Mart giftcard. At the end of the message it stated that I could reply stop to not get anymore text from them. I got a confirmation of the stop mmessage and I thought that was the end of it. Boy was I wrong. The phone calls started up. After getting a few calls, I searched it on Google and came to this site. After reading a few of the comments. I saved it under Do Not Answer and made a call to the number where I was giving the option to have my numberremoved from their calling list. Just hope that it works.
Okay, guess that it didn't work, they hhave called again. However the message did say that it could tak up to 72 hours to take effect. I'll post updates as this goes on.
Okay here is another update, it's been an hour and they have called again 2 more times, both times I have answered only to say, do not call this number anymore. Next time, I'm telling them off by saying you're going to get sued now for harassment.
Well they have called again, but now they are hanging up when I answer the phone. Guess they are too chicken to hear what I've got to say to them. No matter, I'm going to have fun with this now.
Called 5 times this morning: an electronic message asking me just to either a) press 1 to accept or b) press 2 to go to voice mail, no further explanation.
Just Ended the calls right there. Could it be a CC scam or charge over the phone scam?
