This Indian guy called and asked me to do a survey. I said yes. After the survey he said that if I am selected they may call me back to receive a free item. I told him that I do not want any more calls. He insisted that he will call back. I told him no and he kept telling me that he will call back. He was an idiot. I will just let the fax p/up from now on.
I believe the person who called me name was Jason although, he had a very thick accent so I'm not too sure. He asked to speak to Mrs Covington. I told him there was no Mrs. (this is my son's number) I asked him what company he was calling from and he told me "this is not a sales call" I told him to put me on their "Do Not Call" list and he said hang up you stupid just hang up. I of course was enraged. I began to ask him to let me speak with his Supervisor and that is when he hung up. The telephone # was on the caller ID so I of course called it back. I received a recording stating that this was a telemarketing call and if I wanted to be placed on the "Do Not Call" list to hit 1. When I did, the recording asked me to put in my 10 digit telephone number and it would be removed in 72 hours.....
I have been a telemarketer and have always done very well but I can empathize with those that choose this field, people can be brutal,,,,,but is those in the telemarketing profession who do things such as this is what makes people respond in an ugly manner. His behavior was totally unacceptable!!
Sorry, I should have said that the post above is in my son's name as it is his phone, but I'm his mom and was the one who took the call. Also the name of the company was Globes
have received 2 seperate calls from this # , first time said Globes, lady became very irrate when i said i did not want to take their survery, we requested to be taken off the call list HA., several weeks later another call from the same # said Safeguard, man acted like a total idiot after my refusal to take survey, yelling, cussing told me they would continue to call agaain and again till i took the "damn survey" his own words , it says the call is being recorded if this is a legitimate co. how on earth do these ppl have a job? we tried to call and speak with anyone but of ccourse the voicebox was full and could not take any calls, put in our # to be removed from the list 2 x's, please god grant me the ability to reach through the phone......
