Same thing happened to me. The caller ID said Globes and fourth time they called I asked to be taken off the list. She said NO NO NO you said you want survey. I said No I want to be removed from your list. She was talking so fast with a heavy accent ( and I am very hard of hearing) I could not understand a word. Then a guy called and I said same thing. He said NO NO NO and started trying to talk to me and I said I can't understand you I want some one who speaks english, he just kept jabbering, then I said I want to speak to your supervisor, he kept jabbering, I said Manager, he would not stop talking so I just laid the phone down til I heard the beeping that indicated we are no longer connected. I wish I knew the real company, country, or who ever is at the bottom of these calls they are harressing. I will not answer another one. and i will try to get the call blocked.
Received call from Globe If we don't know who it is from caller ID and they don't want to leave a message, then they apparently have nothing worth talking about. Possibly this is the new Terrorist attack on USA. What a waste and abuse of Freedom.
I have recently been harassed by this phone number (516-453-5655). The company comes up in my caller ID as "GLOBES". The last call that I received from this number was extremely abusive and harassing. I was threatened and told that I was "in danger". I was also grilled for a "registration number" when I told them that I was on the national "no call list" which there isn't a registration number for that list. I just recently revisited my submission to make sure.
This guy called me ignorant and stupid. He told me to "shut up" numerous times. He told me that he would call me all day every day if he wanted. He said he would never take me off the list...and I don't know what to do. We get phonecalls from this number EVERY DAY and I have answered it several times and begged to be taken off their call list. They are rude and arrogant every time.
I hope this can be resolved.
Received call from this number last night. I am on *do not call list*. I did not answer as I did not recognize the number. Phone rang 48 times. Then A3ycalled again in 5 mins. Took phone off the hook. Same thing started tonight..
