It's a fraud. The IRS does not call you. Instead, they send a letter first, and make an appointment. In addition, they will also inform you of the reason for their contact. With reference to a Tax Report Period filed. If the IRS makes
changes to your figures, they are obligated to inform you, under law! You then have (30) days from date of notice, to acknowledged your wish to appeal, or object to their changes. You must however, state your reasons
then and attach any evidence to your allegation or counter claim? In either case, ensure you attach a copy to your "written correspondence" to the IRS, and send it via Certified Return Receipt! Ensure also you make complete

I will never understand how people go to a site and post comments without even any idea of where they are posting. This comment is recurring on so many scam calls and the posters think this site is either the caller or an entity that has the power to stop calls.
Once again, this is a site to give others information gathered by people who have received calls from the same numbers. That is it period.
Post any info u may have but please don't tell us to stop calling you or tell us the DNC doesn't work. These people do not care about the National DNC and could care less about adhering to the law. You have to fill out a complaint on the number and send It to the DNC, then they can try and track it. This is not the forum in which to do that.
Received a message from this number and I also supposedly are arrears on my taxes.
If you read pages 1 to 3 of this thread you will learn that in 2012 this number was used for the famous "Rachel" and" credit card services". I am guessing same business different scam. Perhaps this is good news, maybe enough people are aware of the credit card service scam and have to switch scam. Thanks to 800notes and all of the people using their valuable time to inform others about the phone numbers and any Intel they have collected. Thank you all for the 411, I am grateful when reading here I know how to handle calls when they do come in. THANK YOU!
