i have received calls from this number 2 times in the past few days. Did not answer as number is not familiar to me. Thanks to all of you who have posted your results.
Receive the same call from time to time, and same female voice bot said "goodbye" - I am afraid it is going to charge to my phone becuz I did pick up - expecting important calls that are not in my contacts, so it su.....s!
Thank you for this site, I just blocked the call after I looked up this site to see where the number originated. I knew a co-worker that fell for this and her work laptop was confiscated.
I received the call too, advising me that my computer is infected! Right! I've got an Apple iMac!
I related I would call Microsoft myself. I know it's a scam. They have been calling me since April and it's now November!
Calling my cell phone, didn't answer and they left no message. We used to own a business that we sold over a year ago. The people that have it now probably gave them my cell #. I don't answer calls if I don't know the number.
