Got a call from this number, display said New York so I didn't answer it. Left a voicemail, in a janky computer voice, saying they were the IRS and they were going to be filing a 'lawsuit' against me. And then left a completely different number to return a call to stop the legal process...
I got a call this morning around 10:20 am. The number displayed was 760-733-9829. The man with a heavy Indian accent asked if we were the home owners. I said NO. He then proceeded to explain that if we had debt over $30,000 ...... I hung up.
The phone rings 1 minute later. The number displayed is 516-285-9894. It's the same guy I had just hung up on.
He asked why I hung up. I asked him why he is calling back with a different phone number with a different area code. I hung up again after I told him I would report him.
The first number is a California area code and the second number he used is a New York number.
I got a call also from +1-516-285-9894 this evening but i was not able to answer. I got curious so I tried to call back but it was just a machine voice saying that the number is not working... something like that.. It was annoying to receive such calls. I just pray that whatever it is.. I leave it for God, as God knows what is hidden & what is revealed.. Thanks & Salam!
I got the call from the following number : 516-285-9894 guy with Indian accent.
He said he was from Microsoft to support the Windows.
I knew it was scam, I started swear at him and he did the same.
I hang up the phone
