Received call and recording from Jasmine Long, Expedited Processing Services. Said she had documents that were going to be delivered to me at my place of employment or home. They would make two attempts and I needed to have ID ready. Have not tried to return the call. Will hand information over to my attorney...as Jasmine indicated if my attorney or I had questions to call 518.375.2201.

The DNC only works with legitimate telemarketers, not scammers like these. It doesn't block calls so you might want to invest in a call blocker.

Boring!
No legitimate process server or lawyer worth a penny would warn you that you are about to be served with legal documents.  Since if you were to be served and avoided them they couldn't sue you as easily. So, Jasmine Long of Expedited Processing Services (fake co. name if Ive ever heard one) you just been added to my auto reject list. And Ill do the same with the next phone number you use.

This is a common ploy by criminals masquerading as debt collectors who are attempting to extort money from people by scaring you into believing that you will be criminally charged, go to jail, lose your driver’s license, have wages garnished, be sued, and a variety of other variations on this,  all for an alleged or nonexistent debt.  One of the tricks they use is to call your work place, friends, or relatives repeatedly in an attempt to shame you into paying.  They also use the “process server” ruse who calls and claims he is going to serve you, but then says you could avoid it by calling another number
