Got a call yesterday (on our cell phone which we use only in emergencies and noone should have the number!) mentioned credit card company, hung up immediately as they were using up our minutes! Ridiculous. Can't believe they asked for someones credit card number, scary!
i just got a home phone hooked up with a nonpublished number. we use this for emergency only. i just heard the phone ring...did not even know what the ringer sounded like...but when i answered there was nobody on the other end. i do not know how or why anyone would even have the number!!!
Just got a call from the number but did not answer. I called the number and receive a response of "at the subscribers request this number does not accept incoming calls'
I received a call from this number about 5 min. ago. Did not answer it. Seems these kind of calls are getting more and more common. There are laws against it but who's going to enforce those laws?
