Got a call yesterday (on our cell phone which we use only in emergencies and noone should have the number!) mentioned credit card company, hung up immediately as they were using up our minutes! Ridiculous. Can't believe they asked for someones credit card number, scary!
Just got a call about two minutes ago on my unlisted cell phone.
I pressed one to talk to someone. They answered asking if I had pressed one to lower my interest rates. I said "No, I pressed one so you would take me off your list because quite honestly you shouldn't have my number to begin with".
She hung up on me promptly.
Definitely a scam.
Just got a call from this number....they didn't leave a message which tells me #1 it's a scam, #2 it's a telamarketed , or #3 it can't be that important.....I NEVER answer numbers I don't know for that reason.
was in class when it happned. idk who it was, but i could answer at the time, then when i tried to call back, it said, of course, at the user request this number is not accepting calls
