Kevin Peterson,Gwen Jacobs, John Watson and Robert Perterson are all the same--IRS impersonators looking to scam --Scared my wife to death I believe he is an Indian national If I can track him down
I received a call from this number as well talking about the IRS was going to sue me. After I listened to the bull crap, I started questioning him about who, what, when, where, and how and thats when he hung up the phone. When he saw that I knew he was lying, and trying to get information out of me instead of giving me information, he hung up. When I tried to call back, I received the loud beep in my ear. He had a very very very heavy accent, so I believe this was one of those out of the country scams.
They called my wife also, stating she was being sued over providing false tax information in regards to earned income credit. The funny thing was she has not worked in over 7 years. I did a reverse lookup on the number and found the carrier BANDWIDTH.com. I called the company and they give me a web address to compelete to report this phone number for investigation. Here is the website: http://bandwidth.com/resources/legal/policy_violations.html
When asked how they got the phone number (since it was not the one used to file taxes) they said it was none of our concern. The would not speak with me, who is the primary tax filer, only her.
I hope this information is helpful to everyone. Please take the time to complete the investigation form using the link I provided above.
