Total scam....We called back and told them to file the subpoena and would have our lawyer contact them first thing in the morning......they hung up.....
The 530 number called me and said they were going to sue me and have me arrested for theft if I didn't pay them a large sum of money by the next day. They said they were from Anderson Law firm out of California. I've never been to jail and I'm very scared.
I received a phone call from this number on Friday at 4:50 PM from a Don Harris. He left a message for me or my lawyer to return his call. I return his call this morning and spoke to a Daniel Marshall. he told me that they were filing papers in a federal courthouse in Tampa and the charges against me were violation of federal banking regulations, collateral check fraud and theft. I needed to be prepared to go to the courthouse with 2 people to bail me out of jail. Now I do have pdl's and I'm paying them back. He did have my information. He did tell me that if I faxed a letter to him ( have 1 hour) stating that I would pay him 949.29 by tomorrow at 10:00 AM then he would not file the papers. When I asked the name of the company, he could not tell me. He just stated that I would received a document in the mail that it was paid in full. I called back shortly to check the time zone and a man told me to call Mr Marshall back in 20 minutes and he may give me a week to pay me back and not just 1 day. Now, I'm out of work and I am petrified of going to jail. I have 2 children and I don't know what to do. My time is almost up for the letter. Please help!
Man with a thick Indian Accent continues to call me and harass me at work. He says his name is David Jones and leaves a call back number of 530-331-8829. This number does not work.
