I got the same, this number is all over the internet, I told them my lawyer would contact them, I also reported the calls to my corporate security team for the calls at work. I hope nobody falls for this, it's almost laughable... until they start spitting all your personal info at them. i DID get a payday loan (I know real stupid), I believe the company may have sold all of my info to these jack wagons. I try not to interact, but when Im bored I think I'm going to break down... tell them I will pay, tell them of some tragic loss in my family.. something.. just to see what they say.. they are idiots... American lawyers??? Mike Anderson?? C'moooon... at least put some thought into this crap!
I RECEIVED NUMBEROUS CALLS FROM THIS 530 554-4566 NUMBER ALSO WHEN I ANSWERED THEY WOULDNT SAY WERE THEY WERE CALLING FROM. THEY CALLEDME BACK AND I DIDN'T ANSWER SO SOMEBODY LEFT ME A MESSAGE AND TOLD ME TO ASK FOR A MICHAEL FULLER AND TO HAVE MY ATTORNEY PRESENT ALSO AND IF I CALL BACK THAT HE FELT SORRY FOR ME ALSO. I CALLED BACK BECAUSE I GOT CONCERNED AND WHEN I ASKED FOR MICHAEL FULLER THEY PUT ME ON HOLD FOR 3 MINUTES THEN SOMEBODY ELSE GOT ON THE PHONE BUT NOT MICHAEL FULLER. I KEPT ASKING WERE THERE CALLING FROM AND HE SAID THAT I WAS BEING CHARGE WITH A CRIME AND I TOLD HIM I HAD NO CLUE WHAT HE WAS TALKING ABOUT, HE SUPPOSELY GOT AN LEGAL AFFIDAVIT WHEN I HEARD HIM GOING THROUGH ALOT OF PAPER AND WAS REGARDING SOME STUFF TO ME ABOUT CHARGE THAT WILL BE FILED AGAINST ME AND I HE SAID FOR A CASH ADVANCE AND I WROTE 6 CHECKS THAT WAS DEPOSITED IN MY ACCT. I TOLD HIM I DON'T DO THOSE AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT HE IS TALKING ABOUT HE ALSO STARTED YELLING WHEN I KEPT ASKING WHAT HE WAS CALLING FOR AND FROM. HE HUNG UP WHEN I SAID I DON'T DO THOSE WAS ALSO TOLD THAT INFORMATION WILL BE SENT TO MY JOB. I CALLED NUMBER BACK 3X'S AND RECEIVED NO ANSWER.
I keep getting calls from 530-554-4566; the man said he was a detective and that i had tooken a loan out and never paid it; and I need to pay it right now. I told them to fax over any paper work to my attorney and he got mad and told me that my attorney better get me to a safe place because the police where on there way to arrest me and hang up on me. Second time the man said he was a attorney and was going to start telling me about a loan and I stopped him and just told him to fax over the paperwork and he got mad and I just hung up on him. It is so scaring how people like this can get your information and can ruin your life.
Getting calls from this number 530-554-4566 as well. They said we committed fraud with Cash Advance on a 300 dollar loan. They said we did it online and they have our IP address and socials to prove it. I ignored the call yesterday feeling it was a scam. Today they called my wife's work. I called them back and told them I wanted there address so my lawyer can contact them. the Contact names was Mike Anderson and Kevin Thompson. I called Cash advance at the corp office (846-515-5600) to find out if any loans were taken out. We have no open accounts with them. They suggested we call the Federal Trade Commission 1-877-382-4357. Speaking with this so called David Anderson he gave me this info. Most likely false: Address 600 union AV Fairfield Solano CA 92614. the company American Law Offices Mike Anderson and Kevin Thompson. If you are getting called from these guys please file a complaint with the FTC. It take about 5 mins and you file through a real person. DO NOT SEND THEM MONEY OR LET THEM INTIMIDATE YOU. IT IS A SCAM.
just received a call from this number 530-554-4566 from an indian guy. he claims my friend or family member (then says the name of an old co-worker!) has used my private information in a financial fraud and im now in a legal matter and must call him back. he says he is an attorney with American Lawyers. for almost two years now i have been receiving these same damn calls from a Dallas TX number. the very first time they called i freaked out and argued trying to get more info about it. even got into a fight with my co-worker at the time over it. i finally realized is was a scam and NEVER answered their threatening calls since. i called the cops on them, made FCC complaints, and my home-town police called them back warning them, but no luck. they have always called me. i haven't heard from them in about a month until today from this number. they are VERY persistent and will say anything to scare you, DON'T fall for it and DON'T answer their calls!! it is a huge SCAM!!!!!! please continue to make FCC complaints in hopes they will get caught.
I got a call this morning around 9:30am saying that I need to return the call or my attonery return the call. If I don't return the call or the attoney return the call, they wish me good luck I also got two calls yesterday from the same indian guy at work and cell phone saying that he wanted to talk to me and I told him that this is a bad time.
