I got the same, this number is all over the internet, I told them my lawyer would contact them, I also reported the calls to my corporate security team for the calls at work. I hope nobody falls for this, it's almost laughable... until they start spitting all your personal info at them. i DID get a payday loan (I know real stupid), I believe the company may have sold all of my info to these jack wagons. I try not to interact, but when Im bored I think I'm going to break down... tell them I will pay, tell them of some tragic loss in my family.. something.. just to see what they say.. they are idiots... American lawyers??? Mike Anderson?? C'moooon... at least put some thought into this crap!
I also have been getting harassed by these people, it is ALWAYS a very thick Indian accented person saying their name is (Adam Smith, Tom Williams, Keith Anthony, etc.) The most recent was a female caller, again with a heavy accent stating her name is "Mike Anderson." I laughed quite a bit with the name. I made a local police report, a report to the BBB, FTC and State Attorney General. I started a google voice account and called them from the computer. The phone number that comes up is google voice. You can give them this number to call you back if they so choose. The great thing about google voice, is that they will keep calling you back on google voice, leave a message without realizing they are hitting a brick wall! All messages left on google voice can be transcribe so this is very useful for documentation purposes! Anyway, when I called, I notified the person that I knew he had a fake name and a fraudulent company and let him know I had made reports with all of the agencies listed. The guy sounded almost panicked, stated over and over, "You will not receive anymore phone calls!" I hope that finally got them. They have been calling my employment repeatedly, and harassing my employer as they have with me. They threaten jail time, loss of home, belongings and employment! First of all, there is no such thing as debtors prison in the US! They cannot take you to jail! Second of all, it is illegal for debtors to call your place of employment as this could potentially jeopardize your job! DO NOT give ANY personal information to these people! That are merely phishing for information and gain access to your ss#, banking and credit card information.

And just how do you file a law suit on a "Social Security Number???" You can't sue a number! Only a person or company! Too funny! I let them know I filed a report with the appropriate agencies (Local Police, Attorney General, BBB, FTC) and let the guy know that I am well aware that "Mike Anderson" is a fake name and that their female employees should use female names if they are going to participate in the scam! He immediately started saying, "You will not receive anymore phone calls, you will not receive anymore phone calls, you will not receive anymore phone calls" "Have a blessed day" he says! I wanted to respond with "Up yours!" but, I am a little more ladylike and just hung up. We'll see if the phone calls are going to stop.

caller with a deep Indian accent wanted the number of one of our employees, said she was in a lawsuit. I kept leading him on, as i get a kick out of this sort of thing. He became really angry and started cursing me, calling me an idiot, and an uneducated idiot, among other things! I ask him his name. He said Alvin Scott. He finnaly hung up on me.
At a later date, i called him back, to have a little fun. He didn't want to talk to me!!! Said there was no body named Alvin there.
