I've been calling them back every hour. First two times they just say hello, then he says "hello irs this is officer marcus brown". and the man has an eastern accent, and you can hear other men in the background on the phone. About a year ago I received the exact same thing except it wasn't a recording that came through, they did cold calling. They just keep getting shut down and start up again.
I got one too from this number. It's a computer generated voice of a woman saying it's the IRS and to call back before they take action against me. This gets me angry because there are people who will fall for this scam and who knows what they do to them.
.... Other men in the background, eh? HA HA HA HA !!!! Sounds exactly like Baboo, the CEO of Microsoft Computer Corporation scam. I messed with him but good for about 20 minutes one time. He finally lit up like a road flare and cursed me to his gods.
I get spam calls now and then too. Go to YouTube. Great ideas for trolling them right back. Give them apoplexy. Revenge yourselves on them. Thin the herd.
